Didn’t think we were going to leave you hanging this Friday with nothing to do while the gym is closed for the 4th of July, did ya? We’ve created a workout challenge to keep our Game Changers going strong through the holiday weekend and we want to share it with you… and challenge YOU to change the game this 4th of July.

Part 1 – Share the Love! Eating Right: If you’re going on a picnic, BBQ, beach party or just hanging at home we challenge you two find healthy recipes to bring and share with your friends and family.  There are so many things that you can do, for example, this amazingly refreshing and light watermelon cake:

Part 2 – Wake Up, Work Out: Now, for the fun part- let’s get down to business.  Please do the following workout on your own, with your Game Changer Partner or with other friends that will enjoy a challenge. You will need:

  1. To map out 1 mile route
  2. Your phone to use for a timer & take a pic of yourself when you are complete
  3. Yourself

Workout:

  • Run/Jog/Walk 1 mile
  • 50 squats
  • 1 minute plank
  • 50 pushups
  • 1 minute of high knees (GO HARD)
  • 50 V ups – make sure to get your shoulders off the ground
  • 1 minute of jumping jacks
  • 50 walking lunges – 25 on each side
  • 1 minute of squat jumps
  • Run/Jog/Walk 1 mile
  • DONE!

Now that you have completed the workout, stay active throughout the day, don’t be a couch potato. Enjoy your day, enjoy your life & we will see you all tomorrow. Happy 4th of July Everyone!
