To help support you further in making smart choices when you are out and about we thought we would offer a more to-go restaurant. Let’s be honest, there are not enough hours in the day! If you are running low on time and fuel, consider El Pollo Loco as a quick alternative. Remember, you CAN eat healthier no matter where you go, and this proves it!

It is just a matter of education, decision, and will power.

El Pollo Loco is a popular Mexican Food Chain that you can find almost anywhere .

Pollo Bowl. No rice. Ok for 4 unit people, 2 unit eat half
Mango Taco plate. Easy Dressing. 3 unit meal as is.
Chicken Avocado Soft Taco. No cream Sauce. 2 unit/taco.
Chicken Tortilla Soup. 2 unit meal as is.
Caesar Pollo salad. 3 unit as is. Easy dressing/on side.

General tips here:
A full sized grilled chicken breast is about 5 oz. A thigh is about 3 oz., but higher fat.

No sauces, no sour cream. Avocado/guacamole/dressings on the side.

Large Burrito Sized Tortillas alone is about 45 grams of carbohydrates and 10 grams of fat!!

These options are acceptable when you are out and about or in a hurry. You can always make a better choice, anywhere.
